WOW, killer Skynyrd …
WOW, killer Skynyrd song I’ve never heard played on the radio. Listen to the song Woman by the great English rock band Free, and you should hear how similar they are (almost the same!). This is not a knock, just proof that they had the best taste, listening to and taking the best influences from all of the killer stuff here and on the other side of the pond. Free Forever! (The name of the excellent Free DVD by the way), and thank you God for Skynyrd.

@bigpun1972 medlocke should count, he is on some of the very first skynyrd recordings dude, look up skynyrds first and last album, white dove is rickey singing and alot of drums on that album is rickey and he is even in the photo on the album cover, even though he went on to do blackfoot which he done a amazing job at doing, he is still very much what skynyrd is and i think the soul of allen collins guitar playing lives on in rickey medlocke

@brentcz28 my mom lived in brookhaven ms at the time, 30 min from the crash. A bunch of people went to the crash site and they brought the plane wreckage to brookhaven to a junkyard and anyone could go and get anything they wanted from it. Theres some other things in my box but i cant remember it all..just random stuff. Bandaids, matches, plates, drink cans, a guage, ticket stub, papers, coke bottles.
I can email you pictures I keep it all at my dads house so i’ll get pics nxt time im there
